Photographer Website Build

A streamlined portfolio site that highlights work clearly while guiding clients to inquire and book.

THE SITUATION

A hotel and lifestyle photographer needed a website that showcased their work clearly and made it easy for potential clients to inquire about projects.

THE PROBLEM

The typical issues were all there:

  • Portfolio images weren’t structured or easy to browse

  • No clear flow from viewing work → reaching out

  • Inquiry process felt vague and unstructured

  • Mobile experience wasn’t optimized

As a result, strong work wasn’t translating into consistent inbound leads.

WHAT I BUILT

I designed a clean, portfolio-driven website on WordPress that is focused on visual hierarchy and conversion flow. I also set up hosting on Flywheel.

The goal: Let the work speak first, then guide the user toward inquiry without friction.

THE RESULT

The final site:

  • Showcases work in a way that feels intentional and elevated

  • Makes it obvious how to inquire

  • Reduces back-and-forth by collecting project details upfront

  • Feels aligned with a premium creative brand

KEY FEATURES

  • Structured portfolio galleries

    • Organized by category (Hotels, Lifestyle, Interiors)

  • Project-style layouts

    • Larger visuals, minimal distractions

  • Clear inquiry pathway

    • Prominent “Start a Project” CTA

  • Custom intake form

    • Captures project details upfront

  • Mobile-optimized galleries

    • Smooth scrolling, clean spacing
